Privacy Policy

FitFolder is built to collect as little about you as possible. Here’s exactly what we handle and why.

In short

No sign-up, no name, no email, no password — just an anonymous identifier on your device so your library stays yours. When you import a video, it’s processed to pull out the recipe or workout and then deleted — we don’t store the video. We don’t sell your data, and you can wipe your library from inside the app at any time.

This summary is for convenience only — the full policy below is what applies.

1.Who we are

FitFolder is operated by IVT Innovexa Technologies Ltd (“we”, “us”), the data controller, registered in Cyprus at Vasilissis Freiderikis 33, Palais Divoire House, Office 203, 1066 Nicosia, Cyprus. This policy covers the FitFolder iPhone app and this website.

2.Our no-account approach

FitFolder doesn’t ask you to register. We don’t collect your name, email address, phone number, or a password. Instead, the app creates an anonymous identifier tied to your device so your cards and lists sync to you. That identifier isn’t linked to your real-world identity.

3.Information we handle

Anonymous identifier

A random, device-tied ID generated by our authentication provider. It lets us store and sync your library without knowing who you are.

Content you create

The recipe and workout cards, collections, shopping lists, edits, and any feedback (such as a star rating and comment) you create in the app. This is stored so the app works across your sessions.

Links you import & what we derive from them

When you share a video link, we handle the URL and the public information attached to that post — for example the caption, creator handle, and thumbnail — plus information our system derives from the video, such as a transcript of the audio and any on-screen text.

We don’t keep the video

To build a card, our backend briefly downloads the public video, extracts its text and a few frames, and then deletes the media. We don’t host, store, or re-share the original video, audio, or images — only the extracted text and the structured card are saved to your library.

Subscription information

Your subscription and purchase status, provided through our subscription provider and Apple. We never see or store your payment-card details — Apple processes payment.

Usage & diagnostics

Basic, largely aggregated analytics about how the app is used (for example, that an import started or a card was saved), along with app/device version and crash reports, to help us fix bugs and improve FitFolder.

Apple Reminders

If you export a shopping list to Apple Reminders, that happens on your device through iOS, with your permission. We don’t receive or store your reminders.

This website

The site stores a small preference in your browser (your light/dark theme choice) and our host keeps standard server logs. We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

4.How we use it

  • to provide the app — building, storing, and syncing your cards, lists, and collections;
  • to process imports — fetching public post data and using AI to extract recipe and workout details;
  • to manage your subscription and free trial;
  • to keep the app secure, diagnose crashes, and improve how it works;
  • to respond to your support requests and feedback;
  • to meet legal obligations.

5.Legal bases (GDPR)

Where EU/UK data protection law applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide the app you asked for), our legitimate interests (to secure and improve the service), your consent (for example, device permissions like Reminders, which you can withdraw), and compliance with legal obligations.

6.Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted providers to run FitFolder. They process data on our behalf, and we don’t sell your data to anyone.

ProviderWhat it does
Google FirebaseAnonymous authentication, database, file storage, and app analytics
OpenAITranscribing audio and extracting recipe/workout details from imported content
RevenueCatManaging subscriptions and the free trial
AppleApp Store payment and subscription billing

When we send content to OpenAI, we send only what’s needed to build the card (such as the caption, transcript, or sampled frames). We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

7.International transfers

Some providers (including OpenAI, RevenueCat, and Apple) process data outside the European Economic Area, such as in the United States. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards — like the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent framework — to protect your information.

8.How long we keep it

  • Your library is kept while you use the app. You can erase it at any time with Clear entire library in the app’s settings, or by deleting the app.
  • Imported media is not retained — it’s deleted immediately after a card is built.
  • Diagnostics and logs are kept only for a limited period needed to fix issues and keep the service secure.

Because your identifier is anonymous and tied to your device, removing the app or clearing your library effectively ends our ability to associate stored content with you.

9.Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and not to be subject to solely automated decisions. To exercise these rights, contact our data protection team at dpo@innovexa-tech.com.

Because FitFolder is account-free, we may hold little or nothing that identifies you, and we may need information from your device to locate any data — the quickest way to delete your data is the in-app Clear entire library option. If you’re in the EEA, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority (in Cyprus, the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection). We don’t sell personal information as defined under U.S. state privacy laws.

10.Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit and access rules that restrict each library to its own anonymous owner. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to safeguard your information.

11.Children

FitFolder isn’t directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we don’t knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we’ll delete it.

12.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll change the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or on this page.
