Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and the company behind FitFolder. Please read them before using the app.

In short

FitFolder helps you turn cooking and fitness videos you already have the right to use into editable cards. The app reads public videos and uses AI to pull out the details — which means results can be wrong, so always double-check them. FitFolder isn’t medical, nutritional, or professional advice. Your subscription is billed by Apple and renews until you cancel.

This summary is for convenience only — the full terms below are what actually apply.

1.Who we are

FitFolder (“FitFolder”, the “app”) is operated by IVT Innovexa Technologies Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in Cyprus at Vasilissis Freiderikis 33, Palais Divoire House, Office 203, 1066 Nicosia, Cyprus.

By downloading, accessing, or using FitFolder, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

2.Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use FitFolder (16 if you’re in the European Economic Area, or younger only with verifiable consent from a parent or guardian). By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement and can enter into a binding agreement.

3.Your access — no account needed

FitFolder doesn’t require you to sign up. The app sets you up automatically on your device with an anonymous identifier, and your subscription (see §7) is tied to your Apple ID, not to a username or password.

  • Your library is tied to your device and your subscription. If you delete the app, reset your device, or switch phones, locally stored content may not carry over — although a paid subscription can be restored with your Apple ID.
  • You’re responsible for keeping your device and Apple ID secure. Anyone with access to your unlocked device can access your FitFolder library.

4.What FitFolder does

FitFolder lets you import publicly available videos from supported platforms (currently TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube) and uses automated and AI-based processing to extract information — such as ingredients, steps, exercises, sets, and reps — and present it as editable recipe or workout cards. Every card links back to the original post so you can open it and credit the creator.

5.Imported & third-party content

This is important, so please read it carefully.

  • You are responsible for the content you import. You must ensure you have the right to import and use any video, link, image, or other content you bring into FitFolder, and that doing so doesn’t breach anyone’s rights or any platform’s terms.
  • Creators keep their rights. We don’t claim ownership of third-party content. Recipes, workouts, and the videos they come from belong to their creators or rights holders.
  • We don’t store or republish the original media. When you import a link, the public video is processed only to extract its information and is then deleted — FitFolder doesn’t host, re-share, or redistribute the original video or audio. See our Privacy Policy for detail.
  • We are independent. FitFolder is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Apple, or any other platform or creator. Your use of those platforms remains governed by their own terms, and we aren’t responsible for their availability, content, or policies.

If you’re a rights holder and believe content was imported or used in a way that infringes your rights, contact us at legal@innovexa-tech.com and we’ll respond promptly.

6.Automated extraction & accuracy

FitFolder’s cards are generated automatically using AI. The technology is good, but it isn’t perfect.

Always verify

Cards may be incomplete, mistaken, or misinterpret a video — including quantities, units, ingredients, allergens, substitutions, exercise selection, weights, reps, and timings. Treat every card as a starting point and check it against the original video before you rely on it, cook from it, or train from it.

7.Subscriptions, free trial & payment

FitFolder offers a paid subscription (“FitFolder Pro”), typically with a 7-day free trial followed by an annual term. Pricing is shown in the app before you subscribe.

  • Billing through Apple. Purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account; we don’t receive or store your payment-card details. Subscription billing is also subject to Apple’s terms.
  • Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged within 24 hours before each renewal.
  • Free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won’t be charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
  • Managing & cancelling. You can manage or cancel anytime in your iPhone’s Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple in line with the App Store’s policies; we generally can’t issue them directly.
  • Price changes will be notified in advance as required, and take effect at your next renewal.

8.Acceptable use

When using FitFolder, you agree not to:

  • break any applicable law, or infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
  • import content you don’t have the right to use, or use the app to facilitate infringement;
  • copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where the law expressly permits;
  • resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the app or its output without our permission;
  • interfere with, overload, scrape, or attempt to bypass the security of the app or our backend services.

9.Our intellectual property & licence

The FitFolder app, its name, logo, design, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial use, in line with these Terms and the App Store rules. The app is licensed, not sold.

10.Health, fitness & food disclaimer

Not professional advice

FitFolder is an organisational tool, not a source of medical, nutritional, dietary, or fitness advice. Content does not replace a qualified professional. Consult a doctor before starting any exercise programme or changing your diet, and stop if you feel unwell.

Always check ingredients, quantities, allergens, and food-safety information for yourself before cooking or eating. You use recipes and workouts in FitFolder entirely at your own risk.

11.Availability & changes to the service

FitFolder is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time, and we don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Because the app relies on third-party platforms, changes those platforms make may affect or break the import of certain videos.

12.Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, for loss of data, or for any loss arising from third-party content, third-party platforms, or your reliance on automatically generated cards. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law — including your mandatory rights as a consumer.

13.Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and costs arising out of your misuse of the app, your breach of these Terms, or content you import in violation of someone else’s rights.

14.Termination

You can stop using FitFolder at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the app unlawfully. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will continue to apply.

15.Apple App Store

These Terms are between you and IVT Innovexa Technologies Ltd, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app. To the extent permitted by law, Apple isn’t responsible for the app or any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

16.Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and any dispute will be subject to the courts of the Republic of Cyprus. If you’re a consumer, this doesn’t deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-law rules of the country where you live.

17.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use FitFolder after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
